he recognized the number, but he wasn't making any effort to get up and answer.
"bootycall?" i asked him as the phone was ringing.
he stared at me. "i don't have bootycalls."
"oh really. well, what do you call them, then?"
he paused for a moment, but then a guilty smiled crept over his face. "i prefer to call them.. 'midnight rendezvous'.."
