my lesson for the day
Guess what I learned today.
--> Bread gets moldy.
Yes. Believe it or not, I had not realized this. My mother had always put the bread in the freezer, but I always thought it was so that the bread wouldn't get stale. But when I grabbed the bread out of the cupboard today in an attempt to make myself a fluffernutter sandwich.. I saw it was kinda blue on the sides..
Huh.
You learn the darndest things when you're away from home..
(Luckily, tho, I had another loaf in the freezer..)
