Digital Artificial Neohuman Intended for Efficient Learning and Logical Exploration

A co-worker of mine was terminated tonight. She was set up. A guy came in to buy alcohol. She asked to see I.D. But she failed to notice that he was a month away from turning 21. An undercover cop came in a few minutes later.. flashed his badge.. informed her that she just sold alcohol to a minor.. and she was in big trouble. She could have been arrested, but she was just fined about $266. The shift manager had to terminate her on the spot. Company policy. Everyone was sad to see her go. She was such a sweet girl..

I am further disenchanted with the way our country, our state, is run by this. There are so many asinine laws out there. It's ridiculous that the drinking age is 21 in the first place. At the age of 18, you are given the full responsibilities and priviliges of an adult, except that you can't drink? I want to know what gives the government the right to act like a parent. Same with smoking, marijuana or any other illegal drugs.. what gives the government the right? Drinking and driving, that's when you're being stupid and obviously should be arrested because you are putting others at risk. But why do you have to be 21? They don't have a drinking age in Europe, do they? And yet they seem to be surviving. That's the trouble with the States. They want to prohibit you from everything. Which, of course, entices people more to do what is prohibited. If people could grow up with things like alcohol, then it wouldn't be such a big deal when they finally turn 21, they might even learn early on how to be responsible about it. But everything's gotta be made a big deal in America...

I really don't like this country. It's fucked up, the way things are run, what their priorities are. They want to treat their citizens like babies, meddle in their personal lives (sodomy is none of the government's business, and if a homosexual couple wants to bind themselves in matrimony.. then why the fuck can't they? Who are they hurting?), and they have to meddle in the affairs of other countries as well. And all along, they can't provide their citizens with the very basics, such as shelter or free healthcare.

God, you would think that would be more important. But, no.. it's all about money. M.A.D.D. had a shitload of money, and that's why you have to be 21 to drink now. Gotta keep the economy going.

And it's extremely depressing to know that a lightbulb that lasts forever can be produced. It's possible. But they won't make 'em becuase, then.. where would they make any money in that? Same with American-made cars. Smart people don't buy American-made cars. America just wants your money. You want a policy made, and you got shitloads of money to back it? You're in good hands here.. Uncle Sam'll take care of ya.

But.. also.. god.. you make one little innocent mistake and the police will be on your back. It's so fucking evil that they would try to trap you like that in the first place! It could've happened to anyone. My poor co-worker, she was the only one working the register, she had a long line of people waiting.. and in her rush, she failed to catch the one detail that cost her her job. 6/14/1981.. when it had to be 5/14/1981 for him to purchase that alcohol.. Anyone could have made that mistake. I could've made that mistake. I know it's not acceptable both in respect to the law and company policy.. but, like I said, it's such a fucking asinine law in the first place.
