Actually, it's pretty amazing.
I think it's all because of the centipede.
That centipede set off a chain of events. It gave me the opportunity to do something. And that "something" gave me back some of that old confidence. The Danielle that used to loudly and carelessly twirl her keys as she strolled around. She came back for a little while. And then Danielle went to a housing function. She played games on Game Night.
And she met someone..
Someone wonderful..
Someone who still possessed some innocence and feeling. Someone who hasn't been brutally hurt yet. Because he had never gone that far.
Someone who reminded Danielle what it was like to laugh..
Someone to give her hope..?
But it was the centipede. Whether that centipede was real or imagined, it set off something big.
